CYCLE TOUR AUSTRIA    15 August – 11 September 2010 Passau - Vienna

Rally Officers: Henk & Reini Ros  Email henk.ros@chello.nl

Assistant Rally Officers (and guides); Hans & Anneke van Balderen

Email annekahans@concepts.nl

Come and join us in Austria, as we travel from Passau to Vienna, with numerous cycle trips along the route.  We shall use five campsites en route, at Passau, Grein, Krems, Kloster/Neuburg and Velburg.  Cycling along the Danube and visiting the highlights of the area.
At Vienna we plan to visit Stephansplatz, Schönbruun and other beautiful sights.
We advise you to bring your own bikes and we also expect, as a minimum, one person per unit to cycle with us.

Our chosen campsites all have normal services and in Vienna we use public transport.  For visiting some highlights you need to use your own car, motorhome or organize your own transportation.  Local ferry fees are not included because we don’t plan to cycle in a group (if you don’t want to do that).

We offer three dinners, three barbecues and a minimum of two happy hours.

To register an interest please contact the rally officers by Email.

ALPINE ADVENTURE   16 - 30 June 2011

Rally Team: Joan and Malcolm Kelham,
Email: jomal.kelham@btinternet.com

And: Pauline and David Hirst,

This sightseeing and walking rally will be based at Camping Jungfrau - www.camping-jungfrau.ch  - a five star mountain holiday park in the typically Swiss village of Lauterbrunnen nestled in “The Valley of Waterfalls” below the mighty Jungfrau and Eiger mountains.

Extensive use will be made of the vast Regional Transport Systems to access the proposed 14 day programme of both sightseeing venues and walks that will be planned and available on alternate days.

In view of the spectacular mountain environment applicants will need to be able to walk without difficulty to access the transport and negotiate the gradients in order to admire the scenery.

The walking programme organised on alternate days will delight those applicants with much stronger walking abilities.

Applicants subject to their capabilities may choose to join us on our programme every day, whilst others may wish to take some rest days.

The estimated rally cost should not exceed £1050 at the rate of exchange when this was calculated. This will include camp site fees, a 15 Day Regional Transport Pass, a Welcome and Final Dinner and much more.

Please apply by post to Joan and Malcolm Kelham enclosing a cheque for £150 made payable to M R Kelham ICA A/c. being a non-returnable deposit which will only be banked on allocation of a place on the rally. A deposit has to be paid to the camp site to secure your pitch.

Places will be allocated after 8th July 2010.

We must have a minimum of 12 units to make this rally viable
